Australia backs inclusive leadership in Cambodia – Fruitful outcomes from the ACCESS 2 Steering Committee

Date: 22 August 2025 Venue: Phnom Penh With support from Australia, ACCESS2 Steering Committee (ASC) convened its second meeting, co-chaired by the Australian Embassy’s Development Counsellor with the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) counterparts represented by the Ministry of Health. A journey towards greater disability inclusion, highlights from the third Disability Inclusion Workstream meeting

Date: 7 August 2025 Location: Phnom Penh The Disability Inclusion Workstream is one of three working groups in the ACCESS 2 governance structure, alongside Gender Based Violence and Rehabilitation. On 7 August 2025, the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and the Disability Action Council Secretariat General co-chaired the six-monthly Disability Inclusion Workstream meeting. National and provincial counterparts, ACCESS 2 partners and the Australian Embassy reviewed progress and confirmed priorities for the next six months. (more…)

First PCC meeting in Ratanakiri: A journey to strengthen collaboration with sub-national authorities in support of Indigenous communities

Strengthening Cambodia’s response to gender-based violence (GBV): snapshots from the 3rd ACCESS 2 Workstream meeting
