Indigenous Development

ACCESS 2 will work closely with the indigenous development strategic partner to develop an indigenous development strategic priority agreement (SPA) in partnership with key indigenous people’s organisations to address GBV priority issues for indigenous people.

The SPA will support integration of indigenous peoples’ voice across all activities delivered through ACCESS 2. Following development of the indigenous development SPA, all strategic partners will join a workshop to develop an indigenous development annex to their disability, rehabilitation and GBV SPAs. The indigenous development SPA is expected to comprise of sub-grants to frontline service providers and activities that would broadly align with other delivery a approaches under ACCESS but will remain flexible to community priorities that emerge through SPA development process.
