Disability Inclusion
ACCESS 2 works in partnership with the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) to support the implementation of the National Disability Strategic Plan (NDSP). The NDSP aims to improve the quality of life and promote equality of persons with disabilities by focusing on nine strategic objectives, including increasing access to quality and sustainable services such as health, rehabilitation, vocational training, economic security, social services, accessibility, access to rights, gender equality, and equal participation of people with disabilities.
The implementation of this plan is coordinated by Disability Action Council (DAC), of which the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) is the Secretary-General at the national level. At the sub-national level, Provincial DACs (P-DACs) lead this process.
To ensure disability inclusion is well integrated in different stages of the program implementations and policy formulations and service provisions at the national and sub-national level, ACCESS 2 will work with its strategic implementing partners and government partners.
