Policy Dialogue on Disability inclusion in Social Protection interventions

Event Objectives:

  • To identify current challenges and opportunities across Disability inclusion initiatives, and within the overarching social protection framework
  • To strengthen the engagement of Disabled People Organisation (DPOs) in the implementation of
  • 1) Disability identification and disability cash transfer;2) ID poor certification; and

    3) Cash Transfer Program for Poor Households with Equity Cards to contribute to the protection and stabilisation of livelihood of the poor and the vulnerable during COVID-19

  • Department of Welfare for Persons with Disabilities (DWPD), Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY)
  • Department of Social Welfare, MoSVY
  • Department of ID-Poor, Ministry of Planning (MOP)
  • Cambodia Disabled People’s Organization (CDPO) and DPOs
  • Representative from United Nations Development Program (UNDP)
  • Representative from UNICEF
  • Representative from Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT); and
  • Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services (ACCESS)
