Third Rehabilitation Workstream Meeting

  • The Department of Preventive Medicine (PMD) of the Ministry of Health

 

Event Overview
ACCESS 2 is pleased to announce its third Rehabilitation Workstream Meeting, bringing together national and sub-national stakeholders, alongside ACCESS 2 Rehabilitation Strategic Implementing Partners (SIPs).

Purpose of event:

  • To update the members about the revised TOR of Rehabilitation workstream (changed from quarterly to six-monthly)
  • To present the main progress, including key lessons learnt and challenges of the 2nd year of the Rehabilitation workstream (July 2024 – June 2025)
  • To present key priorities including key indicators of the coming Year 3 AWP (July 2025 – June 2026).
  • To share the coming key events.
  • To prepare for the coming 2nd ACCESS 2 Steering Committee (ASC) meeting that will take place on 22 Aug 2025.

 

Participants: ​We are honored to invite honorable guests from:

  • Representatives from the Royal Government of Cambodia at national level (Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation/Persons with Disabilities Foundation, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, National committee for Sub-National Democratic Development Secretariat)
  • Sub-national levels (Provincial Health Department, Provincial Department of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (PoSVY) and Provincial focal point from Investment units from Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, Siem Reap, and Ratanakiri)
  • Rehabilitation Strategic Implementing Partners: Exceed Worldwide, International Committee of the Redd Cross Cambodia (ICRC), OIC Cambodia, Exceed, WHO, CDPO (representing the service users.
  • Cambodian Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) and Cambodian Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (KhAPO) (representing the professional associations),
  • ACCESS 2 team members and DFAT representatives.

 

Expected Attendance: Approximately 30 participants

We anticipate a productive exchange of ideas and valuable feedback from all participants.
