Spotlight on Ms. Srey Linna: Champion for Disability Inclusion and Rehabilitation in Cambodia

Through the Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services – Phase 2 (ACCESS 2), we are working with both national and sub-national administrations to strive towards grounded policy and inclusive services delivery.

Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Ms. Srey Linna, a dedicated advocate and leader in the realm of Disability Inclusion (DI) and rehabilitation. As the Director of the Provincial Department of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation, and Head of the Provincial Branch of the Persons with Disabilities Foundation (PWDF) in Kampong Speu, Ms. Linna is pivotal in transforming accessibility and inclusion for persons with disabilities.

Ms. Linna is committed to enforcing Technical Standards for Physical Accessibility Infrastructure, ensuring persons with disabilities have unhindered access to public services. Her ongoing efforts are reshaping inclusive participation and bolstering vital disability services in her community.

A passionate learner, Ms. Linna has actively engaged in numerous trainings and workshops covering inclusive social protection and technical infrastructure standards. These experiences enable her to innovate and enhance service quality in Kampong Speu, elevating the lives of those with disabilities through improved rehabilitation services, disability identification, and inclusion in community investment plans.
