Recently. the Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services – Phase 2 (ACCESS 2) program has handed over six laptops to key subnational partners in Ratanakiri, Kampong Cham, Kampong Speu, and Siem Reap provinces to strengthen coordination and service delivery for persons with disabilities, survivors of gender-based violence and Indigenous communities.
The recipients include the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Planning, the Kampong Speu and Kampong Cham Provincial Departments of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, the Ratanakiri Provincial Planning and Investment Unit, and two Organisations of Persons with Disabilities from Kampong Cham and Kampong Speu.
The laptops will be used to improve data collection and management, reporting, record-keeping, and other day-to-day operational functions, enabling partners to work more efficiently and respond more effectively to the needs of their communities.
This support reflects ACCESS 2’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communication and evidence-based decision-making among subnational stakeholders, while improving access to inclusive and responsive services for vulnerable people in target provinces.
The Australian Government, through the ACCESS 2 program, remains committed to promoting safe, inclusive, and standards-based workplaces and supporting local partners to deliver equitable and sustainable services that leave no one behind.
