Workshop Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Understand the link between high-quality engagement, inclusive partnerships and long-term development outcomes.
  • Identify major challenges and opportunities in coordinating local implementation of gender and disability-inclusion policies.
  • Develop practical recommendations to enhance decentralisation’s contribution to inclusive governance.
  • Strengthen collaboration between local government, civil society and development partners.

Participants

Approximately 30–35 participants are expected, including:

  • PCC members and provincial, district and commune officials
  • Leaders of self-help groups and organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs)
  • Women’s representatives from Commune Committees for Women and Children (CCWCs)
