Follow-up meeting to provide support and coaching to district and commune officials on mainstreaming GEDSI in District/Municipality/Commune/Sangkat Investment Programs.

Event Overview
ACCESS 2 is pleased to announce its meeting with district and commune level on mainstreaming on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) to discuss key progress made by sub-national levels and other coaching.
Purpose
The main objectives of this follow-up meeting are to:
- Assess Progress: Evaluate the progress made by sub-national authorities in integrating GEDSI principles into their Commune/Sangkat Investment Programs (CIPs) and District/Municipality Investment Programs (DIPs) since the initial GEDSI workshop.
- Provide Hands-on Coaching: Offer direct mentorship and coaching to participants on how to practically apply GEDSI principles, specifically focusing on the allocation of social service budgets to support vulnerable groups.
- Facilitate Peer Learning: Create a platform for sub-national authorities to present their CIPs and DIPs, share their experiences, and discuss challenges and successful strategies for GEDSI mainstreaming.
- Address Implementation Barriers: Identify and collaboratively address common challenges and barriers to mainstreaming GEDSI into sub-national planning and budgeting processes.
Participants
We are honoured to welcome representatives from:
- The Provincial Administration.
- The Provincial Department of Women’s Affairs.
- The Provincial Department of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation.
- The Provincial Department of Health.
- The Provincial Department of Planning.
- District deputy governors and municipality officials from the four targeted districts and municipality under the GBV component of ACCESS 2.
- Selected commune/sangkat of target district.
- Members from strategic implementing partners and OPDs/WF
- And ACCESS 2 Program staff members.
Expected Attendance: Approximately 140 participants
