Soursdey Chnam Thmey!
Happy Khmer New Year!
Every April from 14–16, Cambodian people celebrate Khmer New Year with family, friends, and loved ones, including visits to tourist destinations across the country. This year is no exception.
On 3 April 2026, the ACCESS 2 family gathered at our office to celebrate this special occasion together. We invited a monk to bless us with prosperity, peace, and joy as part of our traditional Khmer New Year blessing ceremony. We were honoured to receive heartfelt blessings from the monk, wishing our entire team continued success, prosperity, and wellbeing in the upcoming Year of the Horse.
We express our profound gratitude to the Australian Government for its continued support to the work of ACCESS 2 to support quality services for survivors of gender-based violence, persons with disabilities, and Indigenous communities, ensuring that no one is left behind.
We also extend our sincere thanks to government counterparts and strategic implementing partners for their invaluable partnership, collaboration, and guidance in achieving our shared objectives. In addition, we thank sub-national government counterparts for their contributions to meaningful and tangible outcomes within communities.
May this new year bring peace, joy, and prosperity to everyone, especially those vulnerable in communities.
The ACCESS 2 team wishes you and your loved ones a joyful and prosperous Khmer New Year!
