Event overview
Under the support from the Australian Government, through the Australia-Cambodia Cooperation for Equitable Sustainable Services – Phase 2 (ACCESS 2), HI will hold an opening ceremony for a physiotherapy unit building in Kampong Cham Provincial Referral Hospital, which will benefit persons with functional limitations including persons with disabilities, to better enable them to fully participate in society.

Purpose

• To formally inaugurate the physiotherapy unit building in Kampong Cham Provincial Referral Hospital
• To raise awareness of the benefits of physiotherapy and to refer those in need of these services in Kampong Cham Provincial Referral Hospital

Participants

Representatives at this event​ will include:

• Provincial Health Department
• Provincial Department of Social Affairs, Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation (PoSVY) Director
• Provincial Referral Hospital Director and relevant staffs
• HI Country team
• Representative from Physical Rehabilitation Centre
• Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh / ACCESS 2 Program

Expected attendance: Approximately 100 participants.

We look forward to supporting physiotherapy services for people in Kampong Cham, including persons with disabilities.
